A round-bodied desk phone with a ringer box that hangs on the wall, attached to a desk phone, no dial.
It was wired this way when I acquired it, many years ago from my father-in-law's house, so I assume that's how it was used originally.
The box is Western Electric and the phone is made by the Automatic Electric Company, called the Monophone.
Bells on the ringer box appear to be brass.
I wiped off most of the storage dust, but its looks could be improved even more with a thorough cleaning and polishing.
Both pieces are in most excellent condition for their age.
I'm guessing these are from the 1930s or '40s.
If you live in the Des Moines area, I can bring this with me on my next trip up and we can meet at some convenient location for the sale.
