Ruth Wallis Cafe Party 45 rpm album, with three red vinyl records.
Three of the singles are also red vinyl.
There are 12 records altogether, six red & six black vinyl.
Records are all in nice condition and should play well and sound good.
All but the King label are and have been stored in their sleeves.
Ruth was a songwriter/singer and comedienne, in the 1950s I expect.
I have never listened to any of the records but from the titles and the info inside the album cover, it appears her repertoire was a bit risque, or as described in the narrative, saucy, sophisticated and humorous.
One of the records in on the King label, and was probably an earlier one.
Looks like she had her own record company for most of her works, Wallis Original Record Corp.
The titles are: Hawaiian Lei Song, Psycho Mambo, Johnny Had A Yo-Yo, Senorita What's Her Name, Pull Down The Shade Marie, The Dinghy Song, Stay Out Of My Pantry, 4-F Papa, Chile Was Hot, The Cowboy Song, Down In Montevideo, The Sweater Girl, The Admiral's Daughter, The Pistol Song, Gimme, Long Long Time, Tonight For Sure, The Bells Song, The Love Samba, I'd Rather Be A Broad, I'm The Sexiest Gal In Town, The New Yo-Yo Song, This Old House, The Vacation Song.
I can meet with a buyer in some convenient location for the sale, next time I am up to the city.
