From the 1950s, I'd guess.
Just before transistor radios started becoming popular.
This is not a radio you would want to use.
I expect a battery would be difficult to find, and expensive.
Looks nice displayed on a shelf though.
Some damage on one bottom corner, where a battery once leaked, but not noticeable when setting on a shelf.
Fine scratches on the back, sometimes not noticeable when under certain lighting.
I have another of this same model, without the scratches and battery damage, complete with nice leather carrying case.
Need a bit more for it; $65.
I make many trips to the Des Moines area and can meet a buyer at some convenient location for the sale.
