My Mother's Gene Autry Guitar - $50 (Leon, Iowa)

I think my mother got this guitar in the late 1930s.
I have pictutes of her with it when she was a teenager.
In its original case, neither it nor the case is in excellent cobndition.
The guitar has had a split around the center of the sound box.
Looks like my father probably repaired it with dome glue.
The repair is holding, but not very pretty.
One string is no good at all.
I think it could be restored and polished by someone with the proper skills, and look very nice.
Might even sound nice.
I make frequent trips to the Des Moines area and can meet with a buyer at some convenient location for the sale.
